Sasayuri-Ann is located near "the road of the Sun”and Median Tectonic Line, which is traditionally called an energy field of Japanese archipelago (Ise Jing〜Mt. Yoshino〜Mt. Koya), at altitude between 450 and 500 meters above sea level.

Thanks to this location, only Sasayuri-Ann, which is blessed with the energy of the Sun, and the Earth as well as clear air, can offer great experiences of “Earthing” and “Sun Gazing”. Even if the weather is not cooperating, stunning views of sea clouds and a wonderland likely to be drawn in “sansuiga” or Indian ink paintings over peaks will welcome you. The main room of Villa No. 1 “ZAO” faces east and the same of villa No. 2 “OZUNU” faces south to east. You will find beautiful sun and magnificent natural landscape early in the morning. Special stones for “Earthing” are available at both of the villas. Enjoy connecting to the Earth with bare feet and having relax all day long.

What is “Earthing”?

Our body is a kind of a conductor. Electrons spread into our whole body and help us to connect to planet Earth which is a reservoir of free electrons.The best source supplier of electrons is the Earth itself. It could be said that disconnection from the ground may cause a lack of electrons.
The ground which has a surplus of electrons is being natural negative electric charge.
It could be said that the surface of the Earth is a reservoir of negative free electron charge.


Electron flows from a high-tension state to a low-tension state inevitably as water flows to lower place.
What will happen if we directly connect to the Earth?
Both electronic potentials become equal. This is the main reason why we need to connect to the ground.
This phenomenon nourishes planetary life. Big trees do not grow without fertile ground.
Earthing allows us to connect to the natural electric signal of the Earth and stabilize the bioelectrical circuitry that governs our physiology.

What is “Sun-Gazing”?

Sun-gazing is the act of looking directly into the sun during dawn and dusk. Staring at the sun can infuse the body with large amounts of energy and is one of the most effective action for our lives, which enables us to achieve physical, mental and spiritual improvement. Not only is it useful to our health, but it invokes the unlimited power of the mind very easily.

There is a scientific explanation of what may be occurring during the sunbathing.


Sunbathing enables us to use inherent power of our brain mainly because it may activate “pineal body” in our brain.
We tend to focus on negative impact of sunlight and try to avoid it as an enemy. However, as a matter of fact, some difficulties happened to us is due to lack of the sun’s energy. Furthermore, it is said that sun-gazing provides us with all kinds of energy and vitamins which requires for the proper functioning for human body. As a result, some are able to subsist more and more on light as they expand their practice of sun-gazing, without eating regular food and/or no food. It is said that walking barefoot directly on the ground makes us to be healthy, because we could receive benefits from the sun. Namely, we could receive the sun’s energy from the ground absorbed in the earth.


“Pineal body” (also called pineal gland) is a small, pea-shaped endocrine gland in the brain. It is located in the epithalamus, near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in the groove where the two halves of the thalamus join. The pineal body produces melatonin, a serotonin-derived hormone which modulates sleep patterns in both circadian and seasonal cycles.

Earthing and sunbathing bring deep sleep from 10 p.m to 2 a.m when the brain releases morphine-like substance, which increases strength of immune system against virus.
